Zoom #145 - What was once the site of the Old Corner Drug Store - the birthplace of Dr Pepper - is now a parking lot. There’s a memorial commemorating the 1953 tornado that killed 114 and a historical marker about the 1897 Gerald-Harris shooting, but nothing that lets you know that the first DP was served on this corner at 4th and Austin, in downtown Waco.
